Moses

This is Thomas Bouley, known to me (and many others) as Moses. Today's his birthday, and he would have been 43 years old.



Moses was killed this summer in a training accident at Nellis AFB, Nevada. What many people don't think much about is that Moses and those like him assume many of the same risks during peacetime that they would during war. And they do it willingly, because they care about our country and their loved ones. For all that, events like these are never expected and always shocking. It was a difficult day for everyone who knows and loves him and his wife, Toni and their two sons.

Moses was an outstanding fighter pilot, a wonderful example, a loving husband and father, and a good friend. He's sorely missed by people all over the world whose lives he touched. He and his family remain in the hearts of many, and in my prayers. Here's to Moses.
