Christmas Eve

A lot of people around here have tried to decorate as much as they could for Christmas. Although none of these decorations are that great by normal standards, they certainly help out considering where we are.

This is the tree in front of ISAF headquarters.

A small star over the office of some folks down the street.

The French guys nearby put out a nice display.

This is looking off of my hallway.

Here's our little tree in the office. It had lights, but someone (not me) plugged them into the outlet without checking the voltage. There was smoke...

And here's our humble little Charlie Brown tree. The boss's wife sent this to him.

Additionally, there's a great piece about President Reagan and Christmas here. I highly recommend it, as he's a man who truly understood the meaning of Christmas and wasn't afraid to say it.
